Bridgette went to church with me yesterday and did very well! She did get stressed out/excited though at one point. We were sitting near the door and when service was out I forgot how many people were going to go through the door. She pulled pretty hard against the leash and the nose band on her head collar (a gentle leader) broke. Thankfully I had her backup slip lead that can also be a head halter (the EzyDog Luca) so I put that on her and it was fine.

It's so hard telling people though that they can't pet her :hit

Also, there was one young girl who came up to me and asked, "does she bite??" I said no, she's quite friendly. Then she asked, "then why does she have a muzzle?" I said, "oh, it helps me guide her more easily." Then she said, "what happened to your face?" (I had a band aid on my forehead from when it got cut while I was mowing the lawn..)

Kids have no filter. At all.

Do you have a "do not pet" vest? That can cut down on the amount of people that ask to pet her maybe.

Bridgette went to the pumpkin patch (and did a corn maze) with me yesterday. She did very well but got oh so muddy!

She was exhausted afterward too. (For those wondering, my family decided to go back and watch Coco)

I had a rough day today - was in the ER and diagnosed with a concussion - but I was at school with Bridgette earlier when I fell and hit my head. I was able to get up and walk to the school office but I was feeling really off and couldn’t think much or talk. Bridgette sat with me while I waited, and she lied down at my feet, creating a barrier between me and other people, and was very calm.
