Most folks are afraid of color.White is so-ooo boring, let's see some color on those walls.
I know we have some great decorators on this site, have seen some pics you've posted.I want to see some more.We can all get ideas for our homes.Spring is a great time to redecorate.....

I don't paint with wild colors. I use only Williamsburg Reproduction paints in my 99 year old house.

Too many extreme colors and color pallette changes can be stressful especially on children. I prefer tastefully muted and calming color pallettes. For example yellow is a color that is over stimulating to babies. It creates stress and makes them cry alot. How many people do you think still paint a nursery in shades of 'happy sunny yellow'?

I happen to think builder's beige is a fabulous color.

I don't have any wild colors either. I like neutral colors. Khakis, sages, browns, etc.
If I get really creative when we refinish the dining room, I'd like to paint it a deep maroon color.

thats my kitchen... i know its a little bare, we were in the process of moving in. the color is behr chivalry copper.

Our kitchen is a very bright yellow! I kinda like it because its so bright and it brings life into the kitchen and thats a place i am alot since i enjoy cooking and baking things. We also have a room painted HOT PINK!!..LOL other then that everything is plain ole white.

After many years of colors on the walls, I've gone completely neutral, lol. We just moved into our new home and I decided to redo my entire decor. I love the clean feeling of neutrals. I use Eddie Bauer paint from Lowes.
Now with my first child I had quite a bit of yellow in our house then, and never had a problem with a fussy baby, guess she was the exception!

On the main floor, all of the walls are off white with the exception of the great room. The walls are dark green. It has a tray ceiling, and the part that slopes is tan, with white on the flat part.

On the lower level, the second kitchen is yellow and the spare bedroom is sage.
