Male? Female? Chick is 5 weeks old and a gcm. And so cute!!

Thanks for the replies. I'll try to get some better photos sometime soon. They are very difficult to photograph because the pen is too cramped to shoot good photos there. As soon as I let them out of the pen, they are off running and they love to hang around under the shade of some giant rose bushes. I usually can't even see them!
Perhaps I can catch them one at a time and stick them in a cage for a photo shoot. Catching them is a whole other adventure, even in their pen, as part of the floor area has deep space with only 2 feet of clearance. I have to get on my hands and knees and remember not to put my head up :p
I'd like to have a good photo of each one. They are in with some Basques, which look very similar except their legs are not feathered.

Oh pooey! Well maybe I will keep him for awhile in bachelor's quarters until I learn how to tell a good male from a pass-on-that-one. I suppose you'll have better photos in the future ;-) since I know absolutely nothing! Other than what I personally think is pretty. Haha! thanks for giving my poor photos an eval!

I took some more photos, mostly of one cockerel that was kind enough to pose. I think this guy is one of the biggest. Does his tail angle look correct? What about his comb? He has the largest reddest comb, but the points kind of blend together in front.

Here's another guy that looks pretty good to me. His comb has more points. This might be the one I photographed by the bucket yesterday, but I'm not really sure.

This is the second white bird. I like his coloring, but he is smaller than the other whitish one and he's got white fluff at the base of his tail.

Enough photos for now. I appreciate any feedback!

I cannot comment on type as I have no experience but I can tell you that I find the last boy to be absolutely stunning. I love his colors! They're all handsome birds for sure. I will be interested in what others say about form and type!

I still like the cockerel I picked out in your other pictures that is in picture #5 in the front.

He will get more gold as he matures. I "believe" they are supposed to only have 5 points in their comb.

Thanks for the replies.
Chickee, do you mean this one (front)?

I like the looks of that one, if I can figure out which one he is again :/
There are four that are decent size and don't have so much white, and I'm starting to think the only way I can tell them apart is by variations in their combs.
