Sounds like you had an amazing time! I know close to nothing about horses, but I've always heard that about chestnut mares. Are they really that spicy?

It's a stereotype and definitely not always true, colour doesn't really affect the horses personality-
But it's universal belief within the equestrian community that chestnut mares are the sassiest
I swear most people have the same story of never knowing a calm one....

Sounds like the ISA browns I've had. Only difference, their wrath was directed towards other chickens

MY chestnut mare was a darling! If I was the one riding her! She'd try to buck off anyone else lol!
