Hi, I have pure breed light sussex white and black cockral and his treading my warrens vey well indeed and a blue spalsh leghorn cockral who's also treading my warren hens vey actively. If I incubate their eggs... what kind of cocks and hens would I get.... is it a good idea to incubate them or not?

I am not sure what warrens hens are, or what you mean by treading. But almost anytime you cross two different breeds you get a mutt (sometimes hybirds). Maybe someone from you area will be able to help you.

Treading= breeding

You would end up with mixes, since if I remember right warrens are a hatchery mix already. If you don't mind mixes and want to get new chicks for free to grow up, this would work. Chicks should grow up to be a hardy type of bird that lays decent (if hens on the laying part).

Thank you for your replys. My sussex hens should start laying soon, I might just wait and have some pure light sussex..... they really are a beautifull breed..
