Little hen broody?

So my hen winky just started laying eggs like 2 weeks ago, and ive already found multiple nests. i decided to move her eggs into a safe little box on the porch with a nest i made, moss , dried grass, and some of the hair from my brush for cushion.

Ill move it into a dog kennel if shes broody, but her mom (binky) was a teen mom. started a clutch right after laying eggs.

Ill attatch a pic later, but is it possible that she got the early hatcher trait from her mom?

Anything is possible! You might not want to use hair in the nest because it can get tangled on their toes/feet/legs and cut off circulation.

I took it out so its just moss and that dried grass i found. i figured hair , moss, and that grass stuff would be good to make a nest out of since its probably what they use in the wild.

But i walked around with her and picked out more moss, grass, and some leaves she liked and she has been messing around with the nest to make it fit her liking

Hope she gets broody!!
