Firstly. I see an unbelievable amount of lies here.
Like SIX people is not "heaps" or "dozens".
Not a single one of us did it "for attention" rather I'm the kind of person who prefers you ignore me. I did it because I found a cute gif that reminds me of my bird whom I love very much.
Had you politely asked they be changed, instead of practically subtly threatening people with moderation, basically every single one of us would've happily obliged. We did it for fun, between each other. idk where alot of you would've been seeing many of my posts as I really am not that active publicly.
If it's really that big a deal I will change it. Which would've happened soon anyway with Christmas getting closer.
I cannot agree with this enough. Very well said, @Somewhere_In_The_Clouds.

I think the ones that are a problem are the ones that flash different colours. Those gave me a legitimate eyeache.
Yikes! They can also trigger seizures in some epileptics, but I've never heard anyone in BYC say they were. Most of the pretty ones never bothered me, but the spinning ones would draw my eyes there instead of where I wanted to go, so distractive I guess you'd call it.

I'd rather let people have their fun and we were just looking for a different way other than ignoring to be able to not have to see avatars at all. I thought once I saw somewhere you could shut those off.

As someone with one of those avatars I'm just going to say this. This PFPs break NONE of the forum rules and majority of us are barely active publicly and usually stay on our own threads. If it bothers you, sorry bout that but that's really your own problem. If it bothers you that much you can ignore and if you aren't willing to ignore then clearly it doesn't bother you as much as you are advertising. Nobody is doing this for attention, it's a fun thing between friends. Please don't make assumptions.
