It's a public auction!!! Bid if you want to pay the price for it. If "JOHN" wants it he is free to bid against you or anyone else.

I've been to a lot of auctions, and the only person i won't bid against is a friend or family member that is bidding.

Tell John if he wanted it he should of bid on it or quit his whinning
 
great thread. I'm going to the youth 4-H groups auction in 2 weeks. anything i need to know, going into this? Besides look out for John?!?!?!!

There is a poultry auction next weekend in Nebraska. I go to that one. If John went to that one, he would get a rude awakening. The only rule at auctions is - if you want it, be the highest bidder.

I suppose that depends on the 4H group. This time of year they could be selling anything. At fair time around here the kids sell their winning meat birds.
