Lohmann Brown hybrid

Lohman browns are just Sex-links pretty much! So you could make them with Rhode island red or New Hampshire rooster and Delaware hen. (I think, but don't take my word for it)

While it is true they are red sex links, the proprietary types, such as Lohmann, are not just any red/gold over silver cross. The proprietary crosses are specific lines of specific breeds maintained for that cross.
OP can create their own red sex links, but those will not be Lohmann browns, they will simply be red sex links

Would a WHITE ROCK hen work w/a red rooster?
If you use a Delaware hen as a mother, the tail of the final hybrid will be black instead of white.
As you can see, the tail of the lohmann brown hybrids is white. This means that the mother has dominant whitegeneson the tail feathers.

Almost all the commercial sex links with a white tail are a cross between Rhode island red and Rhode island white breeds.

But, you need 500 years of hard genetic selection to create an ultimate layer. Only if we become vampires, we will manage to create a layer machine like all those.

Also, the Lohmann company sells red sex link hybrids for many different purposes. The egg size, the feed consumption, the interior egg quality is different in every red sex link they sell. Also, some of them are designed for the cage, while other for alternative systems.

You can see photos of their parent stock too. The male is clearly a Rhode island red (hybrid layer quality) and the females seem to be pearl white hens that have red earlobes and smaller combs than the legendary leghorns. Rhode island whites? White Plymouth rocks? A cross between these two breeds? Who knows?
