One soup turtle that's about a foot or more wide,that follows me beside my canoe.They've been getting breakfast every morning for the last 4 years. It attracts all kinds of turtles & lots of them. Very impressive, we just don't have critter like that in the desert,, although we do have catfish in the Rio Grande, and HUGE carp.

We have catfish in Hesperia Lake that has been there for about 20 years. Last year someone caught him and weighed him in at 47 lbs and put him back. Who is gonna kill a fish that has managed escape for that long??
