I have only 3 hens left of my 6, and partly from some rogue roosters someone dumped down my farm road over the early winter, they wore one of the hens out and two others got out of the yard when young and were taken by varmits. I want more hens but nothing too little, less than 5 lbs, and nothing too young to be out and ranging the yard. I am not putting them out without a guardian, they have a ruin duck, a mated pair of Talouse Geese and 2 roosters, in a fenced yard and under cover in the chicken house. I need some egg layers. I will drive to get them, and if anyone has a 1-2year old peacock hen, I have a male that could use a girlfriend, don't care what color, I hear most don't have luck with clutches making it, so I am mostly looking for him to have a mate, he is shaking his feathers at the roosters and the hens, he is so lonesome. jeannette

seems like it is tough to find in local ads, everything in Lancaster Farmer is gone the same day the paper is sent out. Nothing in my local paper ever, hope someone out there can sell some girls.

Try PMing Marlin Chaser I know he is in maryland and might have a few standard mixed breed pullets available. I don't have anything sorry.

Good Luck,
Henry

I looked at the aracaunas you have on your website and they look a lot bigger than the ones we had, and so do the eggs if the one in your hand is typical. This variety lay pretty steady? I might change my hubbies mind if you have some good layers in this breed. And I am still interested in a peahen, Thanks. Jeannette

they are standard size Wheaten Ameracanas... not Aracaunas. Yea they are good sized birds and lay good sized eggs.

If you email me instead of PM I will get it sooner. I only come to BYC once a day.

Peafowl you have two reserved for me for sunday right? I emailed you because I need your information for a mapquest.

Henry
