Losing feathers?

HELP REALLY CONCERNED: first time chicken mom here. I have 4 pullets, 17 weeks now. (1 BO, 2 PR, 1aust.) ive looked everywhere for this answer but can’t seem to find it online. Question: do the chicks lose feathers a few a day as they grow to maturity? I’ve been surprised by the Qty of feathers the birds are losing. Im just not sure this is normal. It has been going on since they were younger. I don’t see any noticeable bald spots and I never see them picking on each other. I’m new at this and I probably didn’t raise them to be tame enough. so I haven’t been brave enough to grab them to check for parasites. But they are in a Clean suburban backyard coop/run. I clean poop out daily. They have no access to other animals. They have plenty of fresh water and food. And I give them A small throw of fresh veggie scraps once a day like spinach or watermelon and seeds.
Is it normal to lose feathers daily? Or is this a parasite problem? And if so what do I do about it?

Sounds like it's molding time. My quail did their first not and their own looks like several exploded (there's only two in there)

I constantly have feathers on my poop board each morning. Usually smaller feathers and not wing feathers, but they lose those too. Not daily for each bird though.
