Hello all, Well my girls (13 weeks old today) are finally out of the brooder and into their fancy new coop. I waited this long because the outside temperature have been well over 105 degrees this last month and I felt like that was just way to hot to have them outside even with misters and watering holes. However, since I kept them inside longer than 8 weeks I swear I could hear what sounded like attempts to learn to crow but it could have just been normal "Get us out of here" calling! It is obvious that the other 7 are most defiantly girls so that leads me to wonder if my Black Australorp is a hen or a rooster. I googled and searched but was getting more confused the more I read so I am here to ask others with more experience than me!
So what do you think is my Black Australorp male or female?
