Microplastics!

I plan to stop buying polyester and rayon clothes. It's not easy, especially when not all clothes have labels to indicate what fibers are in them!
I've been allergic to poly, rayon, elastic, and all that type of fabric for decades, so I've always bought 90% or more cotton clothing, including bed sheets and blankets.

It's not easy to find 100% cotton socks, or other clothing.
I admit 100% cotton socks are impossible because it alway has, and needs stretch.
But there is clothing with natural fibers only.
Easiest is often to buy them online. In the search field you can add the materials you like: cotton, linen, wool, bamboo, hemp, silk …

The sites where I buy from always say how much of what material is used in the description. And with cotton if its made from organic cotton.

I am absolutely certain that my garden is filled with microplastic and I am not happy with that, but too late now, I can not remove them.

The microplastic came from old plant pots that breakdown slowly by turning into powder. Tarp covers that breakdown slowly.

In Australia all clothing have detail labels like what fabric and how much of it.

Majority of clothes in Australia are imported, that is if we do not buy import, we will all be naked.

Target and Kmart have a lot of clothes that are made from cotton. I prefer linen, and Target and Kmart have plenty of that. However, I find that Target has better quality than Kmart.

There is a shop here "Cotton On" all their clothing are made with cotton fabric.

Some clothes made from cotton and also those that has 100% organic cotton. Talk about confusion.

I used to buy doona/duvet filled with duck feathers, until I saw it on tv how they plug the weather out of those poor ducks, since then I no longer buy it. I buy those with synthetic material instead now and I am happy with that.

ps: I am wearing a dress that says 84% cotton,15% polyester and 1%elastane
