Will be sexing these guys later with the Butterfly method.
Though I know for certain with the chipmunks, the Red duckwing is a Pullet, & The Silver Duckwing is a Cockerel based on stripe darkness. But it'll just help with confirmation.

What is the Butterfly method?
It's like the wing feather sexing method, for 1 week olds. I use pattern of feathers to determine genders of chicks. Gap means male, No gap means female.

I have no pictures currently(SD Card Swap). I'll probably do it tomorrow since it's getting late.

Got some slightly tricky chicks this time around.

#1. Cockerel.

#5. Looks like a cockerel with feather pattern, but leaning pullet based on coloration.

Ok, so it's not 100 percent accurate but gives you an idea.
I thought that might be the case because all chicks develop at different rates.

It can be 100% at times, but there's a small margin for error. Sexed someone's silkie chicks 100% accurately but can't find the thread, nor do I remember the person's username.

I was thinking the Silver Duckwing was a pullet. On at least the Old English Games, the line going from the eye to the ear determines the gender. If it only goes to the ear, then it's cockerel. If it goes past and often down and thicker, it's a pullet. I do think it does vary across breeds though because I had an EE chick where the line went past the ear and he was definitely a cockerel.
