We have a recumbent bike with normal sized wheels and yes, it takes some getting used to (we haven't practiced riding it for ages ). You can get recumbent trikes with big wheels as well. So much more comfy than an upright bike. You never have that issue as a kid (seats are probably completely different) and I used to have a road bike when I was younger, but I guess I didn't ride it every day. I work Wednesday to Friday so have three consecutive days where I ride, and the upright was just getting so uncomfortable.

They even look comfy. I'm very interested in trying a recumbent one day.

Apparently a bull shark has been spotted in our lake!

I recommend a trike over a bike; you don't have to practice your balance. A trike is a bit wider though, but not really an issue.

It's open to the ocean. There's an inlet over the other side of the bridge that's been netted off, but this side is open.

Are bull sharks particularly nasty? I don't know much about them, we mainly have bronze whalers and great whites around here.

They are. They can also travel between salt and fresh water, so you can find them inland.

Not in the lake, but they have patrolled areas on the beach.
