Is there a difference in egg color? Deeper yellow orange yolk maybe. I know a few farmers and they all give they stock it, although none of them have layers, so I wondered if to put a bit in the water at least once a week. Will try it and see how they like it. Thank you very much for your answerThe old man i learned from swore by it. Molasses and rosemary sprigs in the waterer....not sure if that helps...but I still do it to this day
True but figured since every seem to like giving it to they animals, maybe it might have some sort of health benefit for the layersWhy?
Clean plain water is what they need.
Molasses and rosemary are good for chickens I can't remember why at the moment but you can always do a search for it.
