molting

I've had juveniles have slight change. One of my black copper marans lost her copper neck feathers after her first molt. I also had a friend who mixed breed chicken ended up with a rumpless look after the first molt. The tail feathers grew back very short and had a soft curl. A few of my jersey giants will have a silvery sheen when feathers first come in and spread. After a few days they have black feathers.
Kept this girl because I loved her color and pattern. It I thought was going to be her permanent color and her daughter looked just like her so I was so excited about that. Now I am breeding her daughter and don't know if next year when she molts if she will do the same thing as her mother.

I have a black copper maran that gets more copper each time she molts. It is migrating down her neck and across her back. This last time the copper reached her wings. It's been something. I keep meaning to go get photos from 5, 6 years ago and compare them to now to see how much the change has been.

I should NOT have said that. Today the dermatologist agreed that I am loosing my hair, maybe alopecia or thyroid or ???? I was molting since summer and couldn't remember ever doing that before.
