Momma Hen being "targeted" by rooster

I had broodies being rejected by the flock, but the rooster always acted as moderator in this situation.
I guess overcrowding, and the flock is too big for all members to be peaceful in abnormal situations like broody hens. The rooster might not be particularly gentlemanly also.
The coop is 15'x30' and they have 6 acres to roam daily. They roost just fine. The broodie just stays away from the flock during the day. I was just wondering if anyone had a broodie that had difficulty re integrating into the flock. Never happened to me before.

Did this hen raise her chicks away from the flock? If so the flock sees her as a stranger. The rooster and the hens are showing dominance.
Was she where the flock could see her? If not you could try see no touch for a week, then see if the dominating behavior is less.

No, the broodie and chicks were with the flock the entire time. They still are. Just not sure why the rooster has singled her out. She is roosting on the top rung tonight like normal. I'll watch their behavior tomorrow morning when I let them out.
