Mulard vs Hinny ducks as adults? Photos pls?j

I wouldn't count on getting eggs from a female hinny either. Mine is now 1.7 yrs old and has only laid one egg (before turning a year old) and is was the size of a fairy egg.

Oh and I ended up keeping all three of my 1st Gen babies in the pictures. I just couldn't let them go so I am glad no one answered my request for rehoming.

Good to know! I will probably keep the baby in my pictures because, like your situation, she was my first baby I’ve hatched myself and I don’t think I’d be able to let her go either!

Yes, I did know that :) The concept of Mules won't produce eggs, but a Hinny will baffles me! Our Muscovy girls I mentioned earlier ended up only hatching one egg out of about 9. Which is the ratio I had when I incubated 8-9 eggs and only my one Hinny hatched.
I saw something interesting yesterday. My Mule was having a talk with one of my Muscovy. It was a language she could understand too. Before I would only hear her Honk really loud. I thought it was neat that she could converse with them as she is half that. She always made noises at them but this time she actually sounded like them which I was surprised to hear.
