My chicken layed turkey egg

I candled it and it only has single yolk.Its already in incubator .In hoping when it hatches a full grown chicken comes out.

Are you sure it is a single yolk and not an egg within an egg? It will be interesting to hear how this turns out.... please keep this thread updated with the hatch result.

No I have never seen one either. They are like bigfoot,, I hear about them but no one I have asked has seen one

I've seen a triple yolker. Once. Not only was the egg very large around, it was quite elongated. I have no idea which hen laid it. It made quite a one egg omelet.

The poor girls must be in pain... I hurt just thinking about it :0. I found an enormous egg last night. I think it was the very first egg she laid. I found little tiny eggs for the past 6 days. Here’s a clip I made breaking it open....https://instagram.com/p/BeeLX6qhr42/

My Jersey Giant's lay 100gram eggs, 3.5 ounces. They're always single yolkers and hatch well.

No. I don't think Bigfoot lives in Missouri, but truth be told, I wouldn't be trying to find him if he was. Quite the opposite.
