My duck not laying

Hello all my duck i was told was an acona duck I was told it's female well I got her at tractor supply chick days last year in February but she has yet to lay any eggs what can cause the duck not to lay any eggs I also have a male duck of unknown breed lol got him from someone who was just getting rid of him cuz he tried to make with his chickens sooo yeah there's that any help on wjy she hasn't laid any eggs yet

I just rumored duck feed from tractor supply and if not then my boy has Hella explaining to do cuz I caught them in the act lol

Aside from drakes being.... Especially hormonal to put it politely, mounting can also be a dominance behavior. If you post some pictures someone could tell you whether you have a drake or a hen

If you have a more recent picture that'd probably be best. It's generally easier to tell the gender of an older bird

Looks like a hen to me (no curly tail feathers) but admittedly I am far better better at sexing chickens than ducks

She could be a slow maturing hen and might start up in spring, or it's possible that she has some kind of reproductive issue and may never lay. In any case, there really isn't anything you can do except keep waiting

Does it quack or does it have a raspy voice?

Your location can also be a factor. I rarely have ducks lay in their first year, not until the Spring of the following year.

Diet may also be to blame. What are you feeding?
