Every Named Crested Cream Legbar Egg Has now Hatched and the rest look promising. Thank you one and all. Now the stress will lower taking my blood pressure with it. I'm not giving up before tomorrow evening on the two other White Jersey Giant eggs. This afternoon the hen that laid the WJG eggs was seen at the far corner of the property near the roadway.... There is a school across the road at the intersection....... Not sure what she was thinking about.

I don't remember the name or number now but one of the last to hatch came out as I looked inside the incubator. If that chick grows into its feet and legs I'm going to have to have a permit for exotic pets. They are huge for a chick only a minute old.

Goodnight. I need to sleep. Tomorrow I move the hatchlings to the new 4'x8' brooder and start them on feed and water with poultry cell. I think that is what I bought. I'll candle in the morning and see if there may be a possible late hatch for 3-4 more. I hope so. I think this is the best hatch yet for us and it shouldn't have been and these pullets have only been laying for a few weeks. We get 8 eggs from 8 pullets at least 3 days a week and 6-7 the other days. These are the best layers we have ever raised.
