Well I have just about completed my first hatch. I set 12 eggs and all were fertilized and all developed. All hatched besides one, it started to pip and zip. Then one of us bunk mates decided to flip him over but after that he just seemed to stop I can see him breathing but there has been no effort in over 20 hours. It almost looks like the membrane is drying out. Do I help?

I rolled him back so the zipped side is up. What do y'all think?

If it's been over 20 hours without progress during zipping, you may end up needing to assist. Here's an article to assisted hatching! Read it through for directions and making that decision, but zipping is supposed to only take a couple of hours at most, if it's stopped, it's likely gonna need help

Thank you, that's what I was thinking, but was hoping I was wrong. Great link.
