LoL, if it's a roo, I can't keep it! Has to be a baby girl. HAS to be! Actually, even though I hatched quite a few roosters, I never had any of them be this active. I'm just taking it as a sign that it's from very healthy stock.

I hope it's a Faverolle--that's my favorite breed, so pretty. The cool thing (as you doubtless know) about them is that you can tell the roos from the pullets in that breed at around two weeks from the color of the wing feathers coming in... black for roos, and salmon brown for pullets. They're also sweet, friendly quiet birds that lays lots of eggs.
No pips this morning, unless she pipped on the underside-why do they do that when they know we want to watch, LOL? Although I love Brahmas-have three of my own that are just over 8 weeks old, I know that I can sex a Faverolle at 2 weeks or less. If it's a boy, that's less time to become attached. SO, I am hoping for a SF, but as long as it hatches, I'll be happy with anything.
