need pork recipes

Cast iron skillet on burner with a touch of oil. Season pork with salt, garlic powder, ground clove, and pepper (optional as we never use it on pork for some reason). Sear on all sides in the skillet. Pull off heat and add a sliced onion or 2 around the pork and under it if you can, cover with lid, toss in 350 degree oven for about an hour and a half. It will be falling apart and oh so delicious.

Crockpot pulled pork..
I take a piece of pork.. put in the crock with thick sliced onions..
Let it cook down all day long.. and shred it with a fork as the day goes on..
Drain any fat off of it... then add your favorite BBQ sauce to cover the meat and cook for a while longer.....
Serve the shredded BBQ pork on good buns with a pickle.

Making my mouth water with that one redhen! Definitely going to try that. You dont put any liquids in, just let it sit in the juices from the fat? I love the way the pulled pork comes out of the crockpot, and we enjoy it on hamburger or hot dog buns, the good ones too!

I put into the crock pot:
1 cup shoyu (soy sauce)
6 cup water
3 bay leaves
1 TBSP dried rosemary
1 TBSP minced garlic

cook it on low for 6-8 hours, average 4 lbs.

I did mine like this in the oven and it was just falling apart tender. I was pleasantly surprised at how tender and good it was. Thanks for all the recipes, I will try some others next.

I have two favorites for pork loin. One is to slice it up for stirfry; marinade the pork slices in balsamic vinegar and soy for about 15 minutes. Cook the slices off in a bit of butter until just done (caution: too much cooking will make it rubbery). Set aside. Stirfry assorted veggies then add pork back in at the end and reheat. Serve over rice or quinoa.

The other recipe is french onion pork tenderloin. Basically cook down onions like you would for french onion soup (slow cook in butter or oil until carmelized and dark brown). Sear outside of tenderloin in a oven proof pan, add in onions and some beef broth, and cook in a 375 oven until the pork is done about 30 minutes (depending on size). As well this can be done on the stove by slicing up the loin and cooking in a pan with the carmelized onions and broth - just wach that it does not get tough by overcooking.

i love to slice into 1" cubes fry in skillet with a tiny bit of oil and add a dash of garlic powder, a splash of wine and a couple of jars of your favorite salsa.. simmer covered about 1 hour till tender. serve with flour tortillas and beans and rice.. easy and good
