I think I might try this and paint them. I have one litter tote I was useing to haul sand into the coop and it got left in there. The next day I found eggs in it.Our coop has nesting boxes but the chooks far prefer kitty litter containers LOL. We live in Florida where the summers are long and hot so I drilled large holes on the sides for ventilation.![]()
