I don't see a partridge one, but picture 2 and 3 could very well feather out as white. I've had a few that looked silvery or yellow but they turned snow white by about 8 weeks old. Also, it looks like the chick in the 1st picture might actually be a blue- but it's hard to tell. They're very cute!! 😊

Thank you 😁 I was curious about how the whites looked when babies because I know they are the most common. I just ordered an assorted mix. I thought maybe the 5th could be partridge...I was hoping. Lol I really am hoping for a buff too. They are all adorable though and I will be happy with whatever color they turn into. 🙂 I like hearing from people and seeing what they have to say so thank you for the response. 🤗

Definitely no partridge. I never saw baby pics before posting but I went and looked. I think your right about the blue and definitely about #2 being white. #3 I think will go white or maybe grey? #4 probably black and Im really really hoping #5 is buff...I took a couple more pics of that one...what do you think?

It looks like a buff to me, but those markings on the back could get darker as he/she gets older... Silkies are cool like that😅 I have one that hatched out white and now he has red markings all over him.

Omg! They are soooo cute! I am really hoping for the buff! I really wanted multiple colors so I am excited I got what I got, but I must admit I was really hoping for at least 1 buff. Im looking forward to seeing them grow! I'm super excited!

Where did you get them? Pretty sure you've got #1 - blue, #2 - white, #3 - splash, #4 - black...not sure about #5, but they could be a buff.
I believe it was backyard chickens hatchery. There was only 2 places that had silkies available out of like 7 places. They seem harder to get this year from what I have been told.

Also it would be really cool to have a splash. Eek! So exciting!

CHICKENS FOR BACKYARDS is where I got them. Just went and checked my email from them to verify. Lol sorry about the wrong name first time. I knew it was close to this websites name though. Lol
