We just got some chicken curtains for our coop. Wanted to share pics because they turned out so cute!

Two for the windows to block out sun. And a matching smaller scale print for the nest boxes. The curtains have completed eliminated any chasing, bullying, fussing, piling in. If you don't have curtains on your nest box I highly recommend!

Wow, very nice!! :love

I've also heard that curtains on a nest box is one idea to try for hens that eat their eggs.

Oooh, fancy! Looks great!

I just chopped up feed bags and tacked them up with a staple gun 🤣 but yes, curtains were a welcome addition here!

That’s a chicken coop!? Heck, I’d live in that! Super cute curtains.

As long as nobody teaches them to access this site... I thought I was being funny using the picture on the bag.
That's great! I need to make new ones. Feed bags sure come in handy for all sorts of projects. I've also used them as a wind breaker, a temporary cover over a quarantine pen (which was a fail :D), and I use them all the time as trash bags in my shed. Some people even make purses out of them.

Well this was before my upgrade. Homemade curtains by someone who doesn't know how to sew (me!)! :lau The chickens were getting all tangled in the curtains. They were coming off the hooks. They were a mess. I started having to go outside and put a cardboard barrier in front to keep the nesting girls from being bothered. So we figured it was time for a proper curtain upgrade!
