Thank you to everyone that gave me information & encouragement yesterday.

I am happy to say that my little wee one is doing much better today. Her crop has gone down quite a bit and she has lots of energy. My Husband ran to feed store late last night right before it closed and purchased some Baby Chick Grit & that seemed to do the trick. Will still keep her away from the others for one more day (she has a playmate with her so she's not lonely) and will not give her any food tonight
to see how she looks in the morning again.

Guess I have been very fortunate with all my other hens & chicks because this has been the first time any of my babies had a problem. So needless to say I was very worried about my little wee one.




Now she looks like she has a neck don't ya think? We still have a ways to go but at least we're making progress.

Oh good! She does look a little better! hopefully the grit will help along with taking food away at night.
