Noisy Breathing

I'll get pictures of everything later today.

What would happen if whatever they have isn't treated? I don't really have the money for tylosin right now.
Well, we aren't quite sure what's wrong.

If she has mucous in the nostrils, keep them cleaned out the best you can. You can use a Saline wetted cloth or qtip to clean the nostrils.

Are they improving, worse or the same?

Keep everyone drinking and eating.

You can make your own saline at home, this is the recipe:
Mix 2teaspoons table salt to a quart of water, bring to boil, reduce to a simmer for 15minutes. Cool. Store in a sanitized jar for up to 24hrs, then make fresh.

Stan the rooster is now dripping liquid from the beak. He didn't eat much if anything today, and not sure if he drank any. No change in Ms. Rose. She ate and drank. The other two are doing fine, despite the coughing.

I tried to take a picture of Stan's mouth but my phone camera won't focus. I couldn't get ahold of Ms. Rose.

I was gone all today so unable to take pictures of their droppings or of them standing around. Will try tomorrow.

Is the saline solution only for rinsing beaks?

The saline would be used to help clean out the nostrils or eyes.

Is Stan's crop emptying?

Any bad odors when you examined inside the beak?

Do you have any medications or remedies on hand? If so, what do you have?

Any way you can get video of what they sound like?

Pictures of Stan and Ms. Rose
Ms. Rose seems a little better. Stan is the same.

His crop is a little squishy.

I can’t smell any odor, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t one (my nose doesn’t work very well).

I have some VetRX and Corid from TSC.

Stan is so handsome!

His beak clicking is worrisome. If his crop is squishy, then I'd start treating as Sour Crop. I do wonder if he's got some canker going on or it may just be yeast/sour crop. Hard to know. Have your sister give him a good whiff. If there's a bad rotten odor, then I'd lean more toward Canker.

Either way, I'd treat as Sour for now. Do you have any Miconazole or Clotrimazole?
Acidified Copper Sulfate would treat Sour crop or Canker, so that may be the way to go if you can get that. Link below.

It's good that Ms. Rose is doing a little better. VetRx can sometimes help relieve some symptoms, so Stan may also benefit too.
Do you have the instruction insert for the VetRx? There are several ways it can be used, if not we can look it up.

Keep the nostrils cleared for Ms. Rose and if Stan has debris in the nostrils, try to clear them too.

You'd have to order the Tylosin unless you have a Vet that can write you a script.

It's concerning that the rooster also has his tail down.

Do you have photos of him and of her now along with photos of the poop?

I was out of town the last two days. Stan died this morning. He seemed perkier when we let him out. He crowed, hoarsely, a couple times. We found him dead in the nesting box a few hours later.

Ms. Rose's behaviour hasn't changed. Still lethargic with bouts of energy.
