Noisy Breathing

So sorry to hear about the loss :(.

I'm wondering based on the symptoms that this could potentially be bird flu. Hopefully it isn't the case, but were the affected chickens showing purple or dry combs along with the respiratory issues?

No, their combs were normal. And all the other fifteen birds are fine, so I doubt it was bird flu.
 
I was out of town the last two days. Stan died this morning. He seemed perkier when we let him out. He crowed, hoarsely, a couple times. We found him dead in the nesting box a few hours later.

Ms. Rose's behaviour hasn't changed. Still lethargic with bouts of energy.
