Canadian here. (Trying…omg) to deal with northern fowl mites. Not able to get any of the meds/products you guys have, but found this and may be able to get my hands on some. We are SO very limited here with what we can find for treatment for mites. It’s crazy.
Does anyone know if it will work for chickens??

Any information or help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

It says the active ingredient is permethrin.. it was very effective (in my location), and didn't require any egg withdrawal.. the key would be getting the correct concentration.. also very commonly found as "horse fly spray" here.. but only if permethrin is the only active ingredient.

Using a spray bottle.. a small spritz below the vent, under each wing pit, and at the back base of the neck where it meets the head.. was all it took.. repeat in 10-14 days according to directions.. on your link I found this other one that should also be usable (but still 1% permethrin, your original ask states it's 5%)..

According to my current understanding the proper dilution for permethrin in chickens and northern fowl mites is 0.1%.. please verify this though and proceed according to your understanding and what you are comfortable with.

Also, when used here and at the correct concentration.. is usable as a premises spray.. for roosts, nest boxes, etc.
