Say hello to Captain Skittish, the EE I think is a roo. What do y'all think? CS is about 9-10 weeks old. Keeps the tail up like that almost all the time.

View attachment 1375509 Seems like several people thought this Rumpless Araucana is a pullet, but wouldn't kind of long, copper feathers coming in like this indicate this is a cockerel? Yesterday it looked like red so I checked the bird to make sure it wasnt blood, and found these. I'm so disappointed. Had the egg shipped and hatched it in my home.

That's a cockerel sorry. It has a very small comb so many of us mistaked it as a pullet. The red feathers are the give away that it's a roo

How old is it? Have you looked for saddle feathers on this one?

It will be 9 weeks old tomorrow. I am pretty sure I tried to look for saddle feathers, but don't remember why I couldn't tell
