So i was letting my hens out and noticed one acting like lethargic/lost. So I picked her up and felt round and then all the sudden this can shooting out... should I be worried. She seems to be normal now though.. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something..

I meant to add that I have 5 hens and got 5 eggs since Monday. Also I usually collect everyday. Not sure if this means anything. Just wanted to say..

Not sure which expert to tag here maybe @Eggcessive ?
If she is acting normally now, maybe there isn't an issue.
Do they have access to other calcium sources such as crushed oyster shell or crushed eggshell?
I had this happen often in my Rhode Islands despite being on layer feed with two sources of extra calcium. If it becomes a regular thing, it can cause infections.

Yes I do give them back their crushed eggshells but I don't have them for them all the time. Do you think I should give them oyster shell regularly?

I do. Some hens just don't get enough calcium from feed. I would keep a dish of oyster shell available at all times and add the eggshells to that dish when you have it. They always prefer the eggshell, but some extra calcium source needs to be available at all times.
