NY chicken lover!!!!

Pyxis, THANKS. We only HAD Silkies and they gave use SMALL
eggs. These chickens did not lay one egg: 1 is 2 years old
1 is one year old and 2 were born this Spring. They I KNOW have been all together and they just keep intermixing. I THINK that is WHY the do not lay. No good genes. I think they will GO in the Spring and we will purchase Rhode Island Reds. Thanks again, Aria

I have silkie chicks and a showgirl hatched on Christmas if anyone is interested. I have 6. Getting out of breeding them and only keeping some of my favorite roosters. $30 each.

They are beautiful.....our first breed and always LOVE Them. But,
we are now interested in EGGS...and our Silkies never gave us
enough eggs. We are now looking for Rhode Island Reds...SUPER
egg producers. If ANYONE LOVES SILKIES....THESE ARE THE BEST
QUALITY I HAVE EVER SEEN. Aria
