Well, it is pretty easy to figure cost:
4 windows @ $5..... $20
One pvc pipe........... $9
Hinges. at Restore. $2.
Compost thermometer. $15
2 regular thermometers. $4
About $50, but i had the poo pan, the waterer , the wood, the plywood, the styrofoam and the metal pop door already on hand and most of it was free or repurposed.
Not having to keep checking water 3x a day when it freezes, priceless!
