On the topic of Easter Eggers... *Generally Speaking*...

B is definitely a pullet, i'm pretty sure that's a female specific color pattern. E and F I'm leaning cockerel based on their color patterns. C I'd keep an eye on, but i'm leaning pullet, D I'm leaning cockerel based on comb and wattle development but I'd watch that one too and A is definitely a cockerel

I was figuring cockerels to be A, E and F. I was hoping for 2 girls and one boy. E and F look so much like 'Eddie the Eagle.' RIP.

My very best rooster EVER which was Eddie died at the end of May.... after these chicks hatched. I had planned on keeping a boy just because he was just looking so.... old. He was such a good boy. Will never be replaced.

I was hoping for one OE girl... so I think I'll be okay there. I know I will have a hard time keeping only one though.

These are my 'fun' chickens.... and my 'paycheck' so to speak for keeping everyone happy, healthy and babied.

Thank you so much for your insights. My brain just started to spin with the research I was doing. I really, really appreciate it. You have no idea how much!!

I will be growing them for a spell so I can be sure of who is who in the zoo. I cannot take chances with Eddie's kids.

Here are some updated pictures to follow up in my Easter Egger guessing game. They were 10 weeks a couple of days ago.

For me, I'm still at A, E and F for males.

As for the Olive Eggers... I have a hard time telling the 3 red/brown apart... and will need to follow up with their pics...as the EE matching game has completely overworked my brain cells this morning. There has been little to no movement in the OE wattle or comb development, though.

Surprise, all the EEs look like pullets! I’d be most worried about D, because that is a pretty big comb. But she’s got a nice even feather pattern, so that points to pullet. I’m 100% sure the others are pullets. Cockerels would be much more colorful, usually with bright red patches on their wings, and redder combs. These all have even coloring, and A and C have female-specific coloring that never appears in cockerels.

Well, I am (almost, but not quite) speechless. Looking at the younger pics, I was figuring more males. I *need* one to hopefully be male. Lol.

Better late than never. All.... ALL... the EE were pullets. Of the OE, 3 pullets, 1 cockerel. 😬
