Here, there, and everywhere...
OKay, I have had it with the fleas. I am going to foster and smith and ordering the K9 Advantix. I have a Newfoundland who is about 185 pounds, a lab who is 100, and a chihuahua who is 5 pounds...

Anyway to use a smaller amount of one of the larger tubes on the little guy so I don't have to buy both the over 55 pound and the under 10?!

Drs Foster and Smith has an online, live help feature. Try asking them?
We were gonna go that route, but decided to get comfortis tablets from the vet instead. So glad we did. We give the pup his tablet, since he goes outside for potty breaks, etc. and then flea dropped the cats one time. They stay inside, so as long as the puppy isn't bringing in fleas, they don't get any.
I like this method, because we are only having to treat one animal instead of three.
I know that's not what you asked, but I just thought I'd mention about the comfortis.

Whichever online source you choose to purchase from, be sure and hunt all over their site until you find information that tells you their products are U.S.A EPA and FDA approved.
Some of the flea products are coming out of foreign countries, such as China, and can be useless and/or toxic to your pets. It can have the same brand names and packaging as USA based products, but have been imported.

I would use the weight specific dose for each dog, wouldn't chance an OD on the tiny one!!

Ditto. With the six dogs we have I know how annoying it can be. We have to buy three different sizes, but we usually get 6 months supply at a time.

Imidacloprid *Advantage* is sold OTC in other products made by Bayer. You can buy a gallon of the stuff for less than twenty dollars OTC in a weaker solution. It would save you cost of paying twenty dollars a tube for several different tubes. The concentration is lower, but you could get the dosage online if you look for the weight of each dog.
