Oh my, Porteryork, that would scare the pants right off of me! I can hold snakes with no problem at the zoo, but there is just something about it being in my house.

What did you do?

Ferngully, I am sorry you are so frightened of snakes. I understand a bad childhood experience though. I sincerely hope you never cross one in your house.

Well, the hole is covered up with hardware cloth, hopefully the snake won't show up again. That was enough excitement for one day...week...year.. LOL

If I had a dime for every snake my grandaughter let loose in the house I would be rich lol.
from garden snakes to Pine snakes.
We are talking about a child who can not live in a house where there isnt a snake. yep she is as weird as her grammy.

A great story:

A couple phoned a florist to complain about a plant they bought that would move around the living room at night.

the florist arrived in a serious hurry, refunded their money, and took the plant away while wearing long heavy gloves.

it turns out that the plants were imported from tropical place, and there was more than one report of a snake living in the plant that would hunt at night. It would push the plant around getting back into the plant pot. the snake was venomous.

Urban legend or true story? you decide

My brother was the same way. We never knew what he was bringing home. I would be rich too if I got $ for every reptile brought into the house and then got lost.
