This is our new puppy. We are still trying to figure out a good name. He's 4-5 months old and a lab or lab mix.

I like Timber. Think of calling him. "Tiiiiiiiiimmber!" versus "Chaaaaaance!" Also, how often do you say the word timber or chance in conversation? I'm guessing you say chance much more often. Hearing his name when you're talking could be confusing to him.

I voted Timber as well, which could end with him being called Tim at times and that sounds really cute. He looks to be a well-behaved live wire! And I love his colour. Those front feet indicate a good-sized dog. Enjoy!

Pointer crossed my mind as well, but his head (minus the ears) looks almost exactly like the pit bull my aunt had years ago which is why I am leaning pit.
