It used to be simple to buy antibiotics for my poultry. I’m not sure when that all changed, but it has.
We had a cold snap, with rain and snow, and now I have a turkey that is sick. There are so many disceases that they can get, that I don’t even know what it could be. I’m thinking it’s respiratory. He can’t gobble well, when he “thumps” it’s gargled sounding, and he has a white mucus in his mouth. Plus, he sounds congested. I’m going to try to treat him with antibiotics, but what do I use that I can get at the feed store? Oh, preferably a non-injection antibiotic.
Help!
