Packing Peanuts from Ideal today...what do yours look like?

I got my chicks today from ideal I got 7 barred rock packing peanuts

Shoot , I bet my hatchery doesn't give paking peanuts, even if they did our order was for 28 chicks.

I recieved Red Broilers which look a lot like RIR and the same for the little black ones can be BR or Black SL. The way to tell on the Red broilers is the hackles will have bleed thru but remain red. The BSL roos bleed small or large amounts of red thru their barring and the barring is very dirtylooking not clean like a BR. Ive had both and they make good Campers.

why are they called packing peanuts and not extra chicks??
