Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Not who we bought property from, no.
We bought the vacant piece across the "alley" (private drive).
Property extends the entire "alley way" and actually goes across the road.
You know were we are at.
The entire area used to be one single deed/property,(farm), then "they" sub-divided into lots. Our house is the original farm house.
The individual to whom you were speaking of is STILL an issue, yes..ridiculous.
Hoping at some point, that will work it'self out...maybe in this life time.:hmm

Are you stacking this?? were in the world are you putting all that??..my goodness woman, bend at the knees..:old

Sounds so similar! We live on the original "7 Mile Farm" but it was also subdivided many years ago. The original farm house burned down a very long time ago, and they re-built. Our house is the "servant's house" and is near 100 years old. I love having a place with such history. Wish it was never subdivided. Always said if I won the lottery, I'd buy out all of my neighbors!

Everyone ready for winter? I just dragged a bale of straw out to the run tonight. I'll need get more but they'll have fun with that one for now. The heated water dishes are hooked up and the lights are all on timers. Getting ready for the long, cold, winter. I need one more piece of plastic then the run will be all closed in.

Love local history, history in general is cool.
It is awesome to think of all the families and their stories who have been here before us and to imagine the families that will be here after..hopefully they will enjoy and preserve what is given to them, maybe even add to it like we are all trying to do!:highfive:

Will be plugging in the water heater tonight most likely...Getting tougher for the ferment to do it's thing out in the 'chicken-shed'..will be switching them to pellets soon enough..hate doing that, but can't have it in the house, I seem to be the only one that doesn't mind the "bread-ferment' smell..hahaha, at least that is how my nose receives it!:smack...Snow was on the cars and a little on the shady parts of grass this-morning...watched as little snow flakes tumbled through the air in the sunshine..beautiful!:love

Got slammed with a foot of snow today. We were NOT prepared haha... Opened the chicken coop door and the faces those chickens made were priceless :lau

Looks like they won't be coming out today and I really need to bust my butt and get the plastic up around their winter run...

How much snow did you all get?

Just enough to make the dog insane(r!), and Duckling got to throw snowballs at me. The front steps are still icy.
