Pheasant in garden

Hello all,
Over the last few days there has been a female pheasant coming and going from our garden. Today when i was outside i noticed her sitting in a bush, which is raised on a wall about 3-4 feet high, she is sitting down, does anyone have any ideas what she may be doing???
I can upload a picture if you need.

went out there now, and she had gone, and there is around 20 eggs sitting there!!

If it were me I would take the eggs if she just left them. Is she a ring neck?

i dont know whether she is a ring neck, but just counted them and there is 21, but then saw her sitting on the fence on the other side of the garden.
