That’s a bit concerning, pigeons aren’t able to handle constant laying like chickens can. Are you sure she’s laying them? Maybe you have more females than you think? If you have it, I would add some liquid calcium + vitamin D3 to their water for a day or two, just to make sure they’re getting enough calcium.

The only other ones are young and unpaired... And I assume her mate is a male but I could be wrong.

I thought that about one of my red bars… then she started laying eggs. She used to pick fights with everyone, so her feathers got all beat up, but thankfully she’s calmed down and will look much nicer after her next molt.

I also have a rescued racer who only acted sweet and docile for months, tricking me into thinking he’s a large female. Then he started cooing and dancing to everybody, and actually hopped on top a known male in front of me. Turns out he’s just gay.

Apparently Beauty is now sitting on one of the two egg nests of unknown parentage but her mate Biff took over one of the multi-egg nests.

Well I plan to sell that pair anyway so I'll just have to tell them about the rough hen's peculiarity. She's not quite a year old yet so maybe the problem will solve itself. If we didn't took the eggs away jungle fowl would lay a lot more eggs than they naturally do so I don't know if continuous laying is so much a symptom of egg laying dysfunction as much as broodiness dysfunction.

Oh yeah, I think it’s a broodiness issue, I’ve had similar problems when my pigeons nested in a bad place or got kicked off the nest
