Pink Egg

Not sure which of my girls dropped this heavy bloom pink egg but it’s a first for my flock. This is the only time I’ve ever gotten one and not sure how it happened or if it will happen again.

Thank you! I wanted to save it but hubby washed it and put it in the fridge. I couldn’t even get more pictures. He’s not as fascinated by this as I am.

I snag unusual eggs, poke holes in each end, scramble the yolk with a skewer, blow out the insides, and add them to my collection. Nobody washes eggs but me so that helps. It was a beautiful egg but at least you got a picture! Maybe you can have a special container that nobody messes with?

My Aurora lays pick eggs when she lays. She over 6 years old now so we no longer get many.
