I wanted to post pictures of my three week old white crested Polish chicks. Before I purchased them, I tried to find pictures of baby Polish chickens and didn’t find that there were many on the forum. They are so stinking cute. I can’t believe after having chickens for 13 years this is my first time being a Polish chicken mama.

Actually, I got my first Polish chicken by accident this spring I had ordered blue Cochins and got this chick that had no feathers on her legs and a pom-pom on her head. She was amazing from the start. She is a blue Polish chick. Based on her personality I decided I wanted more and of course this year everybody wants chicks but I was thankful to find them on Meyer hatchery. I originally thought I would get them around July 17 but then it looked like some were available sooner I called them and they were very accommodating and I was able to get my babies one day shipping on the 24th of April. . The following pictures are of Maxima. I will get out to the coop and get an updated picture. She is beautiful from the inside out.

I adore polish! One of my favourite breeds. I've only got one now as her sisters were taken by a predator recently. So sweet and ditzy they are. I'll get some more without a doubt. Love them. Yours are gorgeous, OP!

I just picked up two 8wk old polish large fowl hens on Saturday and desperately hoping the breeder is right that they are female... They are soooo cute, brilliant characters so far
