Polish chicks 🐥 3 weeks old

I am following this closely!
I just picked up two 8wk old polish large fowl hens on Saturday and desperately hoping the breeder is right that they are female... They are soooo cute, brilliant characters so far

I am no expert by any means but I think you have pullets. My guy, Kiefer, started his rather high pitched,, more of a girly scream at about 6 weeks. I do hope his crow gets a bit more masculine as he gets older.

Hatched 12 chickens 4 days ago, new batch in the incubator, they are all doing great, and fall asleep when they are getting pets..

Cute. Thinking now that I have a polish rooster…I might try hatching a few in the spring.

Please share pictures! I have always had brahma and cochin chickens. These are my first Polish. They were all ordered as pullets . Kiefer was a mistake but he is loved. So my intention was to name the 6 white crested after blonde bombshells. So Kiefer was named after Kiefer Sutherland…big fan of 24. Not so sure he would be happy about a Rooster being named after him.

Hahaha. Thanks. Please do post pictures of your chicks as they grow. I found it so hard to find pictures of young polish chicks when I was looking.
