post your chicken coop pictures here!

My work in progress! We already had the shed in our backyard, so we cleaned it out, put up posts and built a small run area. Still working on getting the chicks up into their roosting area, but for now they happily lay on boxes and my cat's carrier.

Next up, creating doors that actually match and a cover for the run that isn't my tarp.

Any suggestions on things we should add? I am a new chicken owner.

I picked up my coop just like this one yesterday . Drove around 200 miles one way but am very pleased with it . It is easy to handle and my D'uccles love it . It is well made and attractive .

Wow, these coops are all so amazing! Here's my old coop, which just had three hens in, made from pallets and other wood we found:)

Of course it had it's faults, but I still loved it and I really regret giving it away now

We just got our birds two weeks ago. While there's not much left to do in the coop, we're experimenting with stuff in the run to make it more interesting for our two Silkies. This setup is in Chicago. The coop in inside the 2 1/2 car garage and the run is along the outside between the garage and our neighbor's fence. Pretty sure we have the only chickens for miles. :)
